Welcome to my website!

I am a PhD candidate in Economics at the University of Rochester. I work on topics in Econometrics (both theoretical and applied), Labor Economics, Social Mobility, and Game Theory. Before starting my PhD, my earlier research focused on economic development and crime.

I am on the job market this year and will be available for interviews during the 2022 AEA/ASSA and the 2021 EJME meetings.

Job Market Paper

In my job market paper, I use statistical distances to measure the degree of social mobility in a society. This new measure can be applied to particular subpopulations of interest, to multiple outcome variables, and to more than two generations. Furthermore, it reveals mobility patterns that are hidden to the traditional measures.
